Basra medium and heavy crude prices rise

Baghdad The prices of Basra’s medium and heavy crude oil rose today, Wednesday, coinciding with an increase in international prices.

Basra Medium crude, exported to Asia, rose $1.75, with a change rate of 1.84%, to reach $97.01 per barrel.

Basra Heavy crude, exported to Asia, also rose $1.75, with a change rate of 1.92%, to reach $92.91.

Also, the prices of OPEC crudes rose, as the price of Saudi Arabian Light crude reached $104.22, an increase of $1.69, and the UAE’s Murban crude rose to $100.53, an increase of $3.01.

Oil prices rose with Saudi threats to return to reducing OPEC production in the event of a drop in prices, while limiting expectations of an increase in supply with the possibility of reviving the Iran-US nuclear agreement.
