Basra:The head of the Security Committee in the Basra Provincial Council, Dr. Aqeel Al-Fariji, held discussions with Admiral Hisham Taher Hammadi, the Commander of the Naval Force, regarding the security of the province’s territorial waters and coastline.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Al-Fariji visited the Naval Force Command, where he met with Admiral Hammadi and several officers. They talked about mechanisms for joint coordination and enhancing security measures to ensure the protection of Basra and its surrounding waters.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Fariji highlighted the need for continuous efforts, vigilance, and caution to prevent any threats to the security and stability of the region.
