Basra: Prices of Basra Heavy and Medium crude oil rose on Tuesday, despite the decline in global oil prices. Basra Heavy crude prices rose 32 cents, or 48%, to $67.47, while Medium crude prices rose 32 cents, or 46%, to $70.52.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, oil prices fell amid concerns about declining trade activity and its impact on fuel demand growth amid the escalating trade war between the United States and the European Union, major crude consumers. Brent crude reached $68.97, while US crude reached $66.99.
