Basra: The Basra Operations Command has announced the successful detonation of war remnants in the southern Rumaila area. The operation took place today, as part of an ongoing effort to clear the region of hazardous materials.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command's media office released a statement detailing that the engineering unit was responsible for carrying out the detonation. The operation was scheduled to occur from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Sunday, July 5th.
