Basra: Basra Police Command announced the explosion of a hand grenade in Al-Baradhiya area, near an abandoned restaurant.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the command stated in a statement that the explosion caused the restaurant's exterior glass to shatter. The statement added that Basra Police Command is continuing its investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident.
