Basra: A joint security force arrested a number of suspects in their possession of weapons and ammunition following a brawl in Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Police Command stated in a statement: “A joint force from the Al-Hussein Neighborhood Rescue Branch, the Third Basra Emergency Regiment, and the Intelligence Department were able to arrest a number of suspects following an armed brawl. The operation resulted in the seizure of a Kalashnikov rifle and a variety of ammunition.”

The statement added: “The necessary legal measures were taken against the suspects, and they were referred to the competent authorities.”
