Basra: The Basra Governorate Police Command ended an armed clash in Al-Mustafa district, north of the governorate, and arrested the participants.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Governorate Police Command stated in a press release: "After receiving information about a clash in the district, a joint security force was immediately formed, and the area was completely cordoned off according to a well-devised field plan."

The statement added: "The operation resulted in the arrest of the suspects involved in the incident and the seizure of a BKC machine gun, a Kalashnikov rifle, and a hunting rifle."
