Basra: Basra Police revealed the circumstances of a murder inside a house due to a financial dispute in Al-Zubair District.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Police Command stated in a statement that Basra Police detachments are investigating an unfortunate murder that occurred inside a house in Al-Zubair District following a financial dispute between the homeowner and his guest, which escalated into a shooting that resulted in casualties among the family.

The statement added that information indicates the accused was a guest of the family and had dinner with them before committing the crime using his personal weapon, a pistol.

The statement continued that one of the suspects involved has been arrested, while security efforts continue to arrest the main perpetrator.
