Basra: The head of the Security Committee in the Basra Provincial Council, Dr. Aqeel Al-Fariji, met today with Naval Major Ziyad Tariq Al-Abouda, who recently graduated with honors from the Naval Command and Staff College of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Major Al-Abouda earned a Master’s degree in Military Studies, distinguishing himself in the 85th Iraqi Joint Staff Course.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Al-Fariji praised Major Ziyad Tariq Al-Abouda for his outstanding academic and training performance, highlighting his success in the Chinese language proficiency test, as well as his achievements across academic, military, and athletic fields. Al-Fariji emphasized that Major Al-Abouda’s accomplishments reflect the competence of Iraqi officers and their capacity to represent Iraq honorably in international military forums and institutions.
