Belarus assists migrants with attempted mass crossing into Poland

A single group of around 100 migrants attempted to cross the now heavily reinforced border between Belarus and Poland overnight into Sunday, according to the Polish Border Guard. The incident took place shortly before midnight on Saturday, near the Polish village of Czeremcha, a spokesperson said. Belarusian security forces drove the group to the border in a truck and provided them with wooden boards to get over the barbed wire, she added.
