Biden and European Troika leaders discuss Iranian nuclear program negotiations by phone

Baghdad US President Joe Biden discussed with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, today, Sunday, in a telephone conversation, negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.

A statement issued by the White House said, today, Sunday, that “President Biden spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and they discussed ongoing negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program, the need to enhance support for partners in the Middle East, and efforts joint venture to deter and constrain Iran’s destabilizing regional activities.”

The media had revealed leaks obtained from sources close to the Iranian presidency, about a list of some concessions that the United States of America agreed to grant to Iran in order to return to the nuclear agreement.

The deal leaks include:

The agreement that Iran sell 50 million barrels of oil within 120 days at current market prices, which would generate $4 billion for it.

The release of Iranian assets worth $7 billion frozen in South Korea.

And Washington’s approval to lift sanctions on 17 banks.
