Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command announced the success of the plan to secure the pilgrimage of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him). The Lieutenant General Commander of Baghdad Operations stated that the security and service plans for the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad within the holy city of Kadhimiya were executed successfully. This accomplishment was achieved through the coordinated efforts of all security and intelligence units in the Ministries of Defense and Interior, alongside various government departments and institutions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the coordination with the General Secretariat of the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine and the Husseini Processions Authority played a crucial role in ensuring the plan’s success. The strategy was marked by smooth movement of vehicles and visitors, no roadblocks within the holy city and its surrounding areas, the absence of armed presence, and the provision of all necessary services to the pilgrims.
