Gaza city: Palestinian medical sources reported on Saturday that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 155 bodies in the past 24 hours, including 135 recovered from under the rubble in various areas of the Strip.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the sources stated that “19 martyrs were killed as a result of the occupation’s airstrikes,” which have not ceased on the Strip despite the ceasefire agreement coming into effect. One martyr succumbed to his previous injuries, according to the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa.”
The sources further detailed that 16 citizens were killed due to the bombing of the Ghaboun family home south of Gaza City, while another citizen was killed in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of the city. In addition, two citizens were killed in an Israeli airstrike south of Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.
The bodies of the deceased were distributed among several hospitals: 43 people arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, 60 at Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, 4 at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, 16 at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, and 32 at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
According to WAFA news agency, “Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip, leaving 67,211 martyrs, the majority of whom are women and children, and 169,961 wounded. A number of victims remain under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue crews.”
