Baquba: The body of a young man who drowned in the Al-Khalis irrigation river was recovered by river police divers from the Diyala Police Command. The incident occurred in the Al-Kuti area, situated north of Baquba, the provincial capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the body was handed over to the relevant authorities, and all necessary legal procedures were followed. A police source highlighted the importance of adhering to safety guidelines and avoiding swimming in unsafe areas to protect lives.
