Hilla: The body of an employee at the Musayyib power station was recovered from the Euphrates River north of Hilla. The river police of the Babil Police Command recovered the body of Mohammed Jassim Al-Juhayshi on Saturday. He had drowned in the Euphrates River, which flows through the Musayyib district north of Hillah, while swimming.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar Al-Shammari, stated, “The police recovered the body of Mohammed Jassim Al-Juhayshi, an employee at the Musayyib power station, after receiving a report from his friends about his drowning while swimming in the Euphrates River, which flows through the Musayyib district north of Hillah.”

He added that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine department and that an investigation into the incident has been opened.
