Sulaymaniyah: Border forces arrested 35 infiltrators of Asian nationalities who attempted to illegally cross the border in northern Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Interior indicated that the arrests were part of the Border Forces Command’s efforts to combat infiltration and smuggling. Forces from the Third and Second Regiments of the Third Border Brigade, operating under the First Region Border Command, conducted separate operations leading to the apprehension of these individuals within the administrative borders of Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
