Maysan Governorate: Border forces arrested a suspect in possession of counterfeit money, who attempted to smuggle it into the country in Maysan Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Ministry of Interior revealed that Al-Shaib Customs Police Station, affiliated with the Fourth Region Customs Police Directorate, apprehended the suspect. The individual was found with counterfeit money amounting to 4,900,000 Iraqi dinars, in denominations of 25,000 dinars, which he attempted to smuggle into the country. A formal seizure report was prepared, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the suspect.
