Anbar: Border Forces Commander Lieutenant General Mohammed Abdul Wahab Sakr conducted a field visit to the sector of responsibility of the Border Commando Brigade and the Ninth Border Brigade on the Iraqi-Syrian border within the administrative borders of Anbar Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Interior stated that Lieutenant General Sakr met with the Second Border Region Commander. The tour included a visit to the beginning of the Euphrates River, where the requirements for constructing a bridge across its banks to connect the border units on both sides have been completed.

On the sidelines of the tour, the Commander received the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations, Lieutenant General Jamil Al-Shammari, at the headquarters of the Ninth Border Brigade, where the need for joint coordination with the army units supporting the border forces was discussed.
