Basra: The Border Forces Command announced on Friday the seizure of 5 kg of narcotics in the city of Faw, Basra Governorate.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Command indicated that through continuous monitoring with thermal cameras and field inspections, the Border Forces were able to seize 5 kg of crystal methamphetamine. The drugs were hidden among the weeds on the banks of the Shatt al-Arab River in the city of Faw, within the area of responsibility of the 3rd Battalion, Coastal Border Brigade.
