Bulgaria: During my recent visit to Bulgaria, I found myself in a country that cannot be defined solely by the beauty of its nature. Rather, it is a country whose cities, streets, and landmarks tell the story of an ancient civilization, a rich culture, and a long history, alongside a wonderful people who embrace life and whose genuine generosity and warm hospitality reflect their sophistication and civility.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the visit was a valuable opportunity to gain a closer understanding of this beautiful country and explore aspects of its history and culture, as well as to connect with its people, who left a distinctive impression on me through their kindness, openness, generosity, and gracious conduct.
The media aspect of the visit was of particular importance, especially through meetings and cooperation with the Bulgarian News Agency, one of Bulgaria's prominent media institutions. I had the opportunity to visit several of the agency's offices across different parts of the country, where I witnessed a high level of organization, professional commitment, and team spirit, in addition to the warm hospitality extended to us at every stop.
I would also like to express my great appreciation for the Director General of the Bulgarian News Agency, Kiril Valchev, a young leader who combines a distinguished presence and extensive experience in media work with a clear professional vision and innovative ideas that contribute to developing the agency's performance and strengthening its media presence and role.
During my visits to the agency and its various offices, I observed a clear commitment to developing its operations, embracing modern tools, and upholding professionalism in news production. This reflects the significant efforts made by the agency's management and staff.
What I experienced in Bulgaria was not merely a visit to a beautiful European country, but rather a human, cultural, and professional experience that will remain etched in my memory. I therefore extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to the friendly Bulgarian people, who surrounded us with warmth and respect, and to everyone who contributed to the success of this visit.
