By receiving a delegation from Al-Kadhimiya .. Al-Sudani directs to set the priorities of municipal services for the city

Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani received, this evening, Saturday, a delegation from the people and dignitaries of the holy city of Kadhimiya, in the presence of former Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa al-Araji.

According to a statement by his office, he listened to a presentation from the delegation that included the most prominent service obstacles and needs in the field of infrastructure that the city suffers from, and the consequent effects on its religious and cultural status, in addition to being a destination for visitors to the Holy Kadhimier’s shrine, and the shrine of the two Kadhim Imams, peace be upon them both.

The Prime Minister directed the formation of a committee headed by the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, and the concerned departments, to meet with the people of the city and determine the necessary priorities of municipal services and required infrastructure, and provide appropriate solutions to its most important problems.

He promised to visit the holy Kadhimiya as soon as possible, and to see closely its basic requirements.

The delegation of the people of Kadhimiya expressed their appreciation for the interest of the Prime Minister in the city, and the religious and heritage significance it bears. They also expressed their high evaluation of the urgent rehabilitation and reconstruction campaign that the Prime Minister directed for the Kadhimiya Teaching Hospital, and its opening to work in all its departments, wards and health services.
