Canadian Foreign Minister: We Are Ready To Send Observers To The Electoral Process In Iraq

Baghdad Canadian Foreign Minister Marc Garneau announced his country’s support for the upcoming electoral process in Iraq and its welcome for the UN Security Council’s decision to send observers to monitor the electoral process, stressing: “Canada is ready to send observers for the upcoming electoral process.”

The Canadian Foreign Minister, in a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Foud Hussein, also confirmed his government’s continued support for Iraq, assistance in stabilizing stability, and the continuation of Canada’s role and contributions in the NATO missions and the international coalition against ISIS.
