Beirut: The Ministry of Defense in the new Syrian Administration announced that a ceasefire agreement had been reached on the border between the two countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), quoting the media office of the Syrian Ministry of Defense, reported: “The Syrian Ministry of Defense and its Lebanese counterpart have agreed to a ceasefire on the border and to enhance coordination and cooperation between the two sides.”
