CENTCOM Announces Aircraft Readiness for Parachute Drops in Enemy Territory

Middle east: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced its continued efforts to ensure the readiness of its air fleet to carry out precise military missions in hostile territory, including parachute drops.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command confirmed in a post on the “X” platform that US Air Force airframe technicians are working around the clock in the Middle East region to maintain aircraft and ensure crew safety during combat missions. This includes manufacturing replacement parts and performing complex structural repairs on C-130J military transport aircraft, ensuring their continuous readiness for takeoff at any time.

The C-130J is a vital aircraft in special operations, used to transport elite forces and conduct low-altitude parachute drops or landings in hostile areas to launch rapid and precise offensive operations. This announcement comes as part of efforts to enhance the logistical capabilities and combat readiness of U.S. forces in conflict zones around the world.
