Chief of the Supreme Judicial Council Visits Kuwait to Strengthen Legal Ties


Kuwait City: Chief of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zidan, has arrived in the State of Kuwait, leading a high-level judicial delegation.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Zidan’s visit comes at the invitation of Counselor Adel Bouresli, Head of the Supreme Judicial Council and Head of the Court of Cassation in Kuwait. The purpose of the visit is to enhance judicial and legal cooperation between Iraq and Kuwait.



The delegation accompanying Zidan includes Chief Public Prosecutor Najm Abdullah, Head of the Judicial Supervision Authority Judge Laith Jabr, and Head of the Basra Court of Appeal Judge Adel Abdul Razzaq. The statement from the Judicial Media Department highlighted that the delegation was warmly received by the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council of Kuwait, several judges, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, and the diplomatic staff in Kuwait.
