Mosul: A 12-year-old child has drowned in a private swimming pool on the right side of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source from the Nineveh Police reported the tragic incident, highlighting that initial investigations suggest the child was suffering from epileptic seizures. These seizures may have contributed to the drowning incident while the child was swimming.

The source further explained that the competent authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Meanwhile, the child’s body has been transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department to complete the necessary legal procedures.
