Beijing: China stressed that negotiations represent the only effective way to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian said at a press conference on Tuesday: “Trade wars leave no winner, and coercion and pressure do not contribute to resolving crises.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, in response to Trump’s threats to impose secondary sanctions on Russia, Jian emphasized that “China believes that dialogue is the only possible way to end the Ukrainian conflict.” He elaborated on China’s stance, stating that the country strongly rejects illegal unilateral sanctions and any attempts to impose extraterritorial jurisdiction.
