Baghdad: China’s exports to Iraq amounted to $3.2 billion in the second quarter of this year.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the value of Chinese exports to Iraq reached $3.2 billion during the second quarter of 2026. This represents a decrease of $1 billion compared to the fourth quarter of 2025, when exports reached $4.2 billion, marking a decline of 23.8%.

The data shows that air conditioners and their parts topped the list of Chinese exports to Iraq at $159 million, followed by automobiles and passenger vehicles at $116 million, and auto and vehicle parts in third place at $78 million. Rubber or plastic footwear came next at $75 million, followed by new pneumatic tires made of rubber at $75 million. Lighting units and equipment ranked sixth at $65 million, followed by semiconductor devices, LED components, and photovoltaic cells at $60 million.

China’s top exports to Iraq included knitted or crocheted women’s clothing worth $52 million, furniture and its parts worth $52 million, and exports of machinery and mechanical appliances with single functions amounted to approximately $48 million during the same period.
