Basra: The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Basra, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, met with the Chinese Consul in Basra, Shen Bichong, to discuss strengthening international academic relations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the University of Basra media office stated: “During the Chinese Consul’s visit to the College of Medicine, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in medical education and scientific research, exchange academic expertise, and explore opportunities for student and faculty exchange programs.”

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific partnerships to contribute to the development of the educational and research process, serving the shared goals of academic institutions in both countries.
