Church bells ring to mark the first mass in the right side of Mosul

Mosul The bells of a number of churches rang out in the right side of Mosul, marking the first mass, after the reconstruction of some churches destroyed by the terrorist organization ISIS.

The mass was held in (St. Paul’s) Church after its reconstruction after it was destroyed by the terrorist organization ISIS during its occupation of the city.

Nineveh Governor Najm al-Jubouri told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA: “The return of the displaced Christians has contributed to accelerating the reconstruction of the destroyed churches,” noting: “The mass was held in the presence of a number of Christian and Muslim clerics, as an expression of the spirit of affection and harmony among the components of the people in Mosul.”
