Amara: A citizen was killed after being shot by unknown gunmen near a car showroom in the center of Amara, the capital of Maysan Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, armed men opened fire on a citizen near a car showroom in an industrial area, killing him instantly. The perpetrators fled to an unknown destination.

The source added that security forces arrived at the scene and imposed a security cordon. The victim’s body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department, and an investigation was opened to uncover the circumstances of the crime and track down the perpetrators.
