Baqubah: A civil activist was attacked with knives west of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source reported that the attack occurred late last night when a group of individuals assaulted the activist, resulting in multiple stab wounds. The injured activist was then taken to Baqubah Teaching Hospital for treatment.

The security source further stated that security forces have arrested three individuals in connection with the incident.
