Baghdad: The Civil Defense Directorate announced that a fire that broke out inside the Granada Cinema building, which is used as a warehouse for used clothing, in Bab al-Sharqi area of Baghdad, has been brought under control.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directorate stated in a press release: ‘Civil Defense teams were able to completely control a fire that broke out inside the four-story Granada Cinema building, which is used as a warehouse for used clothing, in Bab al-Sharqi area of central Baghdad. Civil Defense teams from Rusafa side of the city were mobilized, using modern vehicles and a ladder truck to extinguish the flames on the upper floors of the building.’
