Baghdad The Civil Defense teams succeeded in evacuating one hundred inmates of different nationalities in conjunction with the operations to put out a fire incident that broke out inside the five-storey Al-Nakhil Hotel in the center of the old city in the governorate of Karbala.

It stated in a statement: The civil defense teams mobilized and pushed the efforts of the specialized firefighting teams and involved the ladder vehicle designated for high buildings to expedite control of the fire that broke out on the fourth floor of the hotel and ended the evacuation and suppression work without recording human losses.

The Civil Defense requested to open an investigation and summon a forensic expert to collect samples and determine the causes of the fire inside the hotel.
