Gaza city: Civil Defense teams in Gaza announced the recovery of 98 bodies from temporary graves inside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, after they were hastily buried since the outbreak of the war.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense reported in a statement on Monday that among the bodies recovered were 55 unidentified remains. These bodies were handed over to the relevant authorities and forensic medicine for identification and final burial procedures.

The statement added that teams are still recovering additional bodies from inside the hospital, in a process that respects the dignity of the victims and documents their identities. It indicated that the transfer process is expected to be completed in the coming days.

Earlier on Monday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received five martyrs in the past 24 hours, three of whom were killed in recent attacks, while two others were recovered from under the rubble. Eleven people with varying injuries were also admitted as a result of the ongoing Israeli attacks.
