Baghdad: The Civil Defense in Karbala is actively conducting a campaign to inspect liquid gas cylinders entering the province as part of the Husseini processions. The Civil Defense Directorate in the holy province has strategically deployed its specialized teams at all provincial entrances to scrutinize liquefied gas cylinders utilized by the Husseini processions. The initiative aims to prevent the entry of locally made or non-compliant cylinders to ensure the safety of pilgrims.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directorate has issued a statement emphasizing that it will not permit the entry of fire accelerants, particularly sandwich panels, due to the potential hazards they present in the event of a fire. The directorate underscores that the safety of pilgrims is prioritized over serving them, highlighting that prevention is deemed the first step towards ensuring success during this significant pilgrimage.
