Baghdad: The Civil Defense Directorate teams controlled a fire that broke out in a private generator in the Mansour area of Baghdad yesterday evening.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated in a statement: “The fire was caused by an electrical short circuit inside the generator, which led to the outbreak of flames, without any human injuries being recorded.”

It explained: “Civil Defense teams quickly extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighboring buildings. An investigation was opened to determine the causes of the incident.”
