Baqubah: A civilian was killed in an armed attack northeast of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source reported that the incident occurred on the Baqubah Mansouriyah road, near the Al Salam district.

The source revealed that initial investigations suggest the attack was related to old tribal disputes. The authorities have transferred the body to the forensic medicine department for further examination.
