Baghdad: The Meteorological Authority announced today, Thursday, details of the weather conditions in the country for the coming days, expecting clear skies and a slight rise in temperatures with wind activity in some areas. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi Meteorological Organization stated in a press release that Friday’s weather will be generally clear, with light to moderate northwesterly winds, becoming more active in the eastern parts of the southern region. Temperatures will be slightly higher than the previous day across the country.

The minimum temperature in Baghdad today was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, with an expected maximum of 42 degrees Celsius. The organization added that Saturday’s weather will also be clear, with light to moderate northwesterly winds becoming more active in the southern region, accompanied by a slight increase in temperatures compared to the previous day.

Sunday’s forecast predicts generally clear weather as well, with light to moderate northwesterly winds that will become more active during the day in the southern region, alongside a slight increase in temperatures across the country. The organization indicated that Monday’s weather will be generally clear, with moderate northwesterly winds. Temperatures will rise slightly in the central and southern regions and remain similar in the northern region.
