Commission for Hajj and Umrah Announces The Completion Of The Arrival Of All Pilgrims To The Homeland

he Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah announced the completion of the arrival of all Iraqi pilgrims to the country, with the arrival of the last plane carrying Iraqi pilgrims from the Holy Land to the homeland in peace.

It said in a statement today, that the last flight of Iraqi pilgrims arrived in the homeland, carrying 260 pilgrims on board, coming from King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah to Erbil Airport.

It confirmed the completion of the arrival of all 15,252 pilgrims through the Jdeidet Arar border crossing and through the five Iraqi airports (Baghdad, Basra, Najaf, Sulaymaniyah, and Erbil).

The Commission indicated that the mechanism for grouping pilgrims from the Holy Land to Iraq proceeded with a high flow according to the timings and schedules set by the commission without any obstacles.

The commission stated that the Saudi authorities evaluated the Iraqi Hajj mission, the first among the countries of the Islamic world in terms of providing exemplary services to pilgrims this year, and it received the Shield of Excellence from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj.
