Fallujah: The Community Dialogue Committee, part of the Permanent Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance at the Prime Minister’s Office, has emphasized that educational institutions are crucial in safeguarding society against intellectual deviations. The Committee underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships between government entities and universities to build a cohesive and secure society.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Community Dialogue Committee, in collaboration with the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Fallujah, organized a seminar titled “Community Dialogue and Its Role in Promoting Intellectual Security.” This event was part of an ongoing effort to foster a culture of dialogue and promote community peace. The seminar highlighted the significance of community dialogue as an essential tool in addressing intellectual challenges that threaten societal stability. It also stressed the role of dialogue in creating an environment characterized by understanding, tolerance, and the rejection of violence and extremism.

The Committee noted that the symposium was attended by several university professors who offered significant academic insights and scientific interventions. These contributions focused on employing moderate discourse within the university setting to protect students from deviant thoughts. The discussions reiterated that educational institutions serve as the first line of defense against intellectual deviations.
