Baghdad: The Coordination Framework has underscored the necessity of holding legislative elections on their scheduled date, emphasizing the importance of upholding constitutional requirements, advancing the democratic process, and representing the people’s will to establish a state of institutions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Coordination Framework’s media office detailed that a regular meeting was held today at the office of Dr. Haider al Abadi. The meeting, attended by the Prime Minister, focused on several critical national issues.
The statement outlined that the participants examined the developments in Iraq’s general situation, particularly in the political, security, and service sectors. They highlighted the necessity for unified national efforts and prioritizing the country’s supreme interest amidst ongoing challenges.
