Hanoi:The Coordination Framework has put forward a series of recommendations aimed at addressing the Council of Ministers’ decision to increase the official dollar exchange rate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the recommendations emphasize curbing currency speculation and preventing the exploitation of the exchange rate adjustment. The proposals also call for a protected pricing basket for essential goods such as food, medicine, and construction materials.

Additionally, the Coordination Framework highlights the need to review government project contracts impacted by the exchange rate adjustment to mitigate their financial repercussions.
