Baghdad: The Coordination Framework has renewed its commitment to backing governmental and judicial efforts aimed at combating corruption and curbing the misuse of public funds. This affirmation came during the 283rd regular meeting held on Monday evening at the office of Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi al-Amiri. The meeting was attended by Chief Justice Faiq Zaidan and Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the leaders of the Coordination Framework emphasized the importance of enhancing parliamentary oversight mechanisms as legislative sessions resume following the end of a recess. They urged Parliament to align its efforts with the ongoing governmental and judicial initiatives and to work towards passing significant legislation to further these objectives.
In addition to their focus on anti-corruption measures, the Coordination Framework also discussed the preparations for the funeral of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Khamenei, a revered figure in the Islamic nation. The attendees called for widespread public participation in paying tribute to the martyr, honoring his enduring legacy and steadfast support for the nation's causes.
