Baghdad: The Counter-Terrorism Service and the Ministry of Defense engaged in discussions focused on developing joint cooperation, exchanging expertise, and enhancing coordination. This meeting marks a significant step towards strengthening institutional efficiency and contributing to the consolidation of security and stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions took place at the headquarters of the Counter-Terrorism Service, where Lieutenant General Zaid Hawshi al-Moussawi, head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, met with Lieutenant General Shwan Mazhar Ali Rawanduzi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, and Lieutenant General Maher Riyad Hammoud, Head of the Military Retirement Department, along with their delegation.

The press release from the Service highlighted that congratulations were extended to Lieutenant General Zaid Hawshi al-Moussawi on his new position during the meeting.
