Najaf: The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service announced on Sunday the arrest of two drug dealers during two special operations carried out in Najaf Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the CTS stated that “the operations were conducted based on precise intelligence information, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance national security and protect society from the scourge of drugs.”

The statement reaffirmed the CTS’s full commitment to pursuing remnants of terrorism and drug traffickers in order to achieve a secure and stable Iraq.
