Baghdad: The Counter-Terrorism Service has officially denied reports circulating about the arrest of a member of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Service issued a statement on Monday clarifying that no such arrest took place. The statement addressed misinformation spreading on social media platforms and reinforced the Service’s commitment to combating terrorism strictly under judicial orders and with the necessary approvals from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
