Baghdad:Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) forces have apprehended three individuals accused of terrorism and drug trafficking in Baghdad and Diwaniyah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were made following thorough intelligence efforts. CTS personnel, acting on judicial warrants, conducted two separate security operations in Baghdad, leading to the capture of two individuals on terrorism-related charges.

Additionally, in a coordinated operation in Diwaniyah Governorate, CTS personnel, along with the Governorate’s Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, arrested a third individual wanted on drug-related charges.
