The Border Ports Authority announced the damaging of foodstuffs prohibited from importing at Zurbatiya border port.

In a statement, the authority stated, “based on the protection of the local product and not allowing entry of prohibited items from import, the Zurbatiya border port in Wasit Governorate, through a joint duty of the departments operating in the port, was able to seize and destroy the potato material prohibited from import and honey, and the destruction of medical necessities that are nutritious (Sodium chloride)”
