Damascus: The Syrian Presidency's Media Directorate announced that French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Syria to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and issues of common interest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Media Directorate explained to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the French President will be accompanied by a delegation including investors and representatives of French companies. This indicates the two sides' intention to enhance economic cooperation alongside political matters.

The source indicated that Presidents Ahmed al-Sharaa and Emmanuel Macron will hold a roundtable discussion with the two delegations. The talks will address developments in regional and international affairs, and prospects for bilateral cooperation in various fields, within the framework of the shared commitment to continuing political dialogue and strengthening relations between the two countries.

President al-Sharaa visited France last year at the invitation of his French counterpart, where the two sides held talks at the
